About JAGB
The Japanese Association of Greater Boston (JAGB) traces its roots back to the Japanese Student Association, founded in 1908. While originating in 1908, JAGB, as we know it today, was established in 1965 and has since grown into one of the largest non-profit organizations serving the Japanese community in the greater Boston area.
JAGB's mission is to provide networking and support for the local Japanese community through activities focused on education, culture, public welfare, and philanthropy.
We offer our members a range of information and services, including planning and organizing social events, publishing a membership directory, and distributing newsletters (three times a year) and event flyers.
JAGB is a 501(c)(3) organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code.
